Cairns Dive Centre has long been a leader in diver training. They put an emphasis on training procedures that are as close to reality as possible. So whether you are doing a learn to dive course or you are going for an advanced ticket you will be prepared for just about anything that mother nature can throw at you.

Cairns Dive Centre offer a variety of courses, overnight snorkelling / dive tours and full day outer barrier reef tours.

Their basic open water learn to dive courses are 4 days in duration and consist of 2 days pool and theory and two days out at the reef. You have the option of either overnighting out at the reef or you can break it up by doing two separate days out at the reef. There is a cost difference between the two and as with most companies the the two separate days option is referred to as the budget course.
